PNP Officer-In-Charge Police Lieutenant General Archie Gamboa led the groundbreaking ceremony for the new office building of Internal Affairs Service (IAS) at Camp Crame.
Inspector General-IAS Atty Alfegar M Triambulo, Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar and other ranking police officials attended the ceremony. The new office of IAS costs P120 million and is four stories high. The construction of the building is set to be completed by year 2020. The IAS currently holds office in the 2nd floor Multi-Purpose Center and abandoned PNP service store building. Inspector General, IAS thanked the PNP leadership and the DPWH for the creation of the new IAS office, which he said will boost the morale of its personnel.
